We received Geraldine into Ruth’s House. Geraldine was thrilled to inherit a greater sense of independence and freedom. Even though she switched her place of residence, she will continue to attend the same high school until she graduates this year. So, she will still see her brother and other Talita Cumi friends at school. In the evenings she is working at a beauty salon. Geraldine is an ambitious young woman who desires to study business administration at a university and own her own beauty salon one day.

Now Raquel and Ruth will have an additional companion at the house! They’ve hit it off well.

Please pray for Geraldine as she makes this transition, and please pray for Ruth too. Ruth recently informed me that of the 80 students who entered with her into medical school, only 16 remain. That’s quite the achievement.
At Peter’s House, Lider, Juan Pablo and I are continuing with our study of the book of Romans. We share lunch together on Sundays, which normally involves at least chicken and rice.

Juan Pablo’s younger sister used to live at Talita Cumi, but recently was moved to a new children’s home. He and I went to visit her. Please pray that they can continue to see each other often and grow closer as siblings. I’m encouraging Juan Pablo to take serious his role as the older brother to care for her.
